Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts for the rental of holiday accommodation concluded between the landlord and the tenant via the website [name of the rental site].
Deviating conditions of the tenant will not be recognized unless the landlord expressly agrees to their validity in writing.

2. Conclusion of contract

By booking accommodation through our website, the tenant makes a binding offer to conclude a rental agreement. The contract is only concluded upon written (e.g., by email) or electronic confirmation by the landlord.

3. Rental object

The rental property is the accommodation (e.g., holiday apartment, vacation home) described in detail on the website. The amenities, location, size, and condition are set out in the respective property description.

4. Rental period / arrival and departure

The accommodation is rented for the booked period.
Early arrival or late departure is only possible by prior arrangement. Late departure may incur an additional fee.

5. Rental price / payment conditions

The rental price and any additional costs (e.g. final cleaning, tourist tax, pets) are stated in the booking confirmation.

6. Withdrawal / cancellation by the tenant

The tenant may withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the rental period. The receipt of the notice of withdrawal is decisive.
The following cancellation conditions apply:

• Cancellations up to 30 days before arrival – full refund except the deposit

• 29-14 days before arrival – 50% refund

• 13-7 days before arrival – 30% refund

• 6 days or less before arrival – no refund

7. Withdrawal / termination by the landlord

The landlord is entitled to withdraw from the contract for good cause, e.g. in case of force majeure or unforeseeable uninhabitability of the accommodation.

8. Use of the accommodation / House rules

The accommodation may only be used by the number of people specified in the contract.

• Smoking is prohibited indoors.

• Pets are only allowed with prior approval.

• The house rules are part of the rental agreement and must be observed.

• The tenant undertakes to treat the accommodation with care and to report any damage caused immediately.

• Barbecues are only permitted in designated areas. Open fires outside of these areas are prohibited.

9. Liability

The landlord is not liable for short-term failures of equipment, electricity, water or internet access unless these are due to intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
The tenant is liable for all damage to the rental property, inventory or outdoor facilities caused by him, his fellow travelers or guests.

10. Data protection

The personal data collected during the booking process will be used exclusively to process the rental agreement and for legally required documentation. Further information can be found in our privacy policy.

11. Final provisions

Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
